Something|Somewhere
Something | Somewhere magazine came as a reply to the demand of publishing everything on small screens. Sometimes it’s not good enough and only print will do.
I see so many people publishing work that I love that I’d love to actually hold and look at without having to scroll for a week and a half.
Something | Somewhere magazine is published in 3 editions of 100 and when they are gone they are gone. We won’t be doing any digital versions of these publications.
The photographer keeps the copyright and just gives us a license to publish the 3 editions, it’s as simple as that.
Payment per edition is £250 once all of the copies are sold and they need to be sold before it goes to the next edition.
Something | Somewhere magazine can be about ‘anything’ but there needs to be a strong theme or topic. This isn’t about SD card dumps, the idea is to sell the magazine rather than a vanity project.
We want to work with good people who are doing the work we enjoy. It really is as simple as that.
Notes:
All the work must be your own work and if it includes models you must have release forms.
You’ll need at least 32 images of a printable quality, all with a resolution of at least 300dpi.
Images can be colour or black and white.
Please don’t ask us to look through your website, it’s up to you to put the pitch and ideas together to present to us.
